At the age of 16, I was at a large Christian event. There was an opportunity to respond to the Christian faith with a personal commitment. I went forward and made a personal commitment that I would go anywhere in the world as a missionary.
At the age of 20 I was attending college. One day I met with a young man from Japan and a missionary from Japan. The three of us prayed together. They prayed in Japanese and I prayed in English. I did not understand Japanese so I asked what they had prayed. They told me they had prayed I would become a missionary to Japan. 25 years I am here in Nagoya at All Saints Church with my wife Kazumi and our daughters Cherry and Bianca. Glory be to God.
