Please join us on Saturday, November 15th starting at 7:30 p.m. as we remember the life and songs of the late Pete Seeger, American folk singer and activist. At Nagoya All Saints International Church, as Christians we recognize and celebrate all persons who spread the message of love, peace and justice that were the keystones of Christ’s ministry on Earth. Therefore we are sponsoring this evening dedicated to the music and activism of Pete Seeger. The evening will be part sing-along and part history lesson of mid and late 20th century America. We will focus on the role Pete Seeger and his music played in various movements in the USA including with Labor, Civil Rights, Peace and Environment. Please come and sing with us the music that Pete used to move a troubled society down the path of peace, justice and reconciliation. Please see the map and directions on this web page for the location. Limited free parking is available. To honor Pete Seeger’s legacy of solidarity with the poor a free will offering will be taken to raise money to buy a cow for a family in a developing country.
